It’s an amazing gift to allow yourself to become consciously aware of old patterns of inner dialogue and thinking. You get to choose whether those patterns of thoughts still serve your higher purpose or whether they need the royal flush down the toilet!

Is it easy – nope! Is it confrontational? Sometimes yes. Does it get easier the more you practice – hell yes! Is it worth it? Yes because you are so deserving of being the best version of you!


Is it time to step out of your old ways, and defy what you thought was possible in your life?

And before you read on any further ask yourself this – did you just react with a negative thought “that’s just not possible”???

Is that not a prompt for you to start making some changes in your life?

So much has transpired both within us and around during the previous year. The new year is a fantastic excuse to create a ‘choice point’ in our lives. It’s a time whereby we get to align our internal and external worlds.

It takes a little time and with practice and conscious awareness you more readily own your stuff at a faster rate. Just think, the more you allow yourself to reflect and connect with your feelings, the more you get to choose to own, acknowledge and release.

It’s a process.

When we own our own negative stuff, we empower ourselves to choose to keep it or let it go. This is by far the best gift you can ever give yourself.

We get to embrace the love we have discovered for self, and turn it into golden light and sprinkle our pathway forward. In turn this illuminates our forward steps! It becomes very clear when we are owning our stuff of how we want to feel and what we want to experience.

So ask yourself this…

Have you been carrying around old burdens – does it feel more like mountains than simply old stuff? Is it time to bring the focus back to you and let some of the old shit, those negative feelings, patterns, or even people go? You can step back and simply observe how this all makes you feel.

The quicker you allow your conscious mind to start exploring and get into your stuff, the easier it is to consciously own it and shift out old patterns that no longer serve you. It’s called change.

It’s never too late to decide to pick yourself up, dust yourself off,
and continue walking your journey path.

It’s a choice to change and it starts with your thoughts which instigate actions!

It’s time to climb the mountain. When we aim for the summit, we are focused on stepping into our light, not our darkness. My daughter recently graduated primary school and the closing quote really resonated for me and I shall share it with you today:

“You’ll move mountains. You’re off to great places. Today is your day. Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way” Dr Suess

If you’re getting stuck on how to move forward in your life and the old ways of thinking are keeping you pigeoned in a hole, consider the following questions:

  • What makes you happy? Do you feel it often? What do you need to do to increase the happiness in your life?
  • Why do you make the excuse of ‘time’ to not nurture yourself?
  • What part do you play in the thing that you are overthinking?
  • Where did your reflection highlight the love you have yourself and your next steps?

Remember this is a process. Don’t trip yourself up with overthinking anything. Simply allow the thoughts to come and go, acknowledge where they may fit in the jigsaw puzzle of the negative pattern and allow it to go.
