Clinical Hypnotherapy is a gentle and peaceful way to communicate with the sub conscious mind and reframe negative to positive.
Hypnosis or ‘trance’ as it is sometimes called, is a totally natural state of mind that we all experience frequently without being consciously aware of it.
It’s not a sleep state!
Most of us have had experiences whereby we seem to have ‘zoned out’. Here’s an example – have you ever been driving and thought “I don’t remember the last 5 kms I just drove!!!”.
This is an experience of the ‘hypnotic state’, which is simply an everyday natural state of altered consciousness. In fact this can naturally occur up to 120 times a day!
Hypnotherapy is where the practition induces this sensation of relaxation so you can hear and accept positive suggestions to make change in your life.
The practitioner guides the client to this natural state of consciousness through guided meditational instruction and listening to soothing music.
The client feels totally in control at all times and is able to hear the therapist clearly.
Its in this altered state of relaxed consciousness that positive suggestions can be accepted by the sub conscious mind, bringing about empowering and desired lasting change.
Its a very natural safe and effective method of dealing with habits, addictions, disempowering beliefs and negative thoughts.
I am passionate about helping people reach their true potential by harnessing the power of the subconscious mind.

‘FAQs
What does hypnosis feel like?
Hypnosis is a totally natural state. Many people think that hypnosis is supposed to feel different from their normal, awake state. Some people believe I might be brain washing you into a sleep.
This is not the case.
In a hypnotic state you will simply feel deeply relaxed, almost like you are half awake, half asleep. This relaxation allows a deep, inward focus, similar to meditation.
You are likely to be awake the entire session.
Will I still be in control under hypnosis?
Yes absolutely. I can’t make you say, do or believe anything that you do not want to.
You will only be able to accept suggestions if it is in your interest to do so.
For example, if I asked you in your conscious state to jump off a cliff or rob a bank, would you?
No!
Because you know that robbing a bank is not aligned with your internal values and beliefs. It’s the same in hypnosis.
How does a hypnotherapy session work?
An session begins with you and I having a conversation and becoming crystal clear on your desired outcome.
by me ‘inducting’ you into a hypnotic state or trance. It feels just like meditation. Once in the hypnotic trance, we gently explore experiences from your past which will help us understand the root, the reason and the cause of your issue. Your brilliant subconscious mind (which is always alert) will easily choose what information is required to be visited, naturally and effortlessly.
From your findings in this exploration, we will use powerful tools to let go of the old beliefs and upgrade your mindset to align with what you truly want.
You will then be provided with a Transformation Recording for 21 days to ‘hard wire’ your new beliefs so the old, outdated beliefs never come back!
What type of scenes will I go to?
The experiences that your mind will go to are scenes that highlight the root cause of your presenting challenge. Most, if not all of the experiences will be scenes / memories that you remember from your past. Some may be scenes you do not remember, but whether you remember them or not, your mind will choose the right scenes every time.
Why is hypnosis so powerful in creating change?
It’s because the mind is more malleable and impressionable in hypnosis. The ‘critical factor’ in the brain essentially shuts down, allowing one to willingly accept things that they wouldn’t accept when not in hypnosis.
How quickly will I experience the changes from our session?
Everyones healing is different and every session is different. Healing is not linear and there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach.
People transform in 3 ways:
1. Immediately – Change will happen straight away
2. Cumulatively – Change will occur bit by bit, day by day.
3. Retroactively – You will look back with retrospect and identify change
Essentially each session is like planting a seed for you to make changes when you are 100% ready to cease the old habit, and embrace the new actions and desired life. Your mind is strong so when you make up your mind you are unstoppable. Your change session is simply designed to support you changing the program files!
