Think of an affirmation as a purposeful and conscious positive thought which can be powerful and motivates you in some way. The aim is for these positive thoughts to filter into our subconscious behaviours and belief based programs. This infiltration then drives a positive shift in your awareness to manifests goals or changes in your behavior in order to achieve what you want.
I find purposefully using affirmations to be a great way to boost my daily focus on the good things I want in my life. Whenever I use them as part of my regular self care practice, they uplift my mood, boost my motivation and support me to actively create specific aspects of my intended dream life.
My miracle morning routine incorporates listening to a specific recording whilst I journal, walk or stretch. I personally use the recordings to subliminally suggest the good stuff. When I work with clients,they use the recordings with breathing exercises as forms of mini meditations!
Affirmations are a lovely complimentary tool when you consciously acknoweldge a negative internal dialogue pattern. Each recording is around the 5-10 minute mark and the perfect way to reset a specific sabotaging negative thought, feeling or belief by instantly replacing it with something positive.
