Shumann Resonance Demystified!

We’ve all been feeling a little funky lately – right? Strange body symptoms that can’t be explained by the doctor. Euphoric highs and exhausting body lows which generate fatigue that has been challenging even the most spritely of us to bed for 10 hours! Weird right? I know!

So, I did a bit of research (my inner detective still loves the thrill of discovery of information) and identified, that there are currently changes occurring within the Schumann Resonance. What’s that you say? Glad you asked!

Scientists have discovered that variations in the Schumann resonance correspond to changes in the seasons, solar activity, activity in Earth’s magnetic environment, in water aerosols in the atmosphere, and other Earth-bound phenomena.

Even NASA has an opinion and describes the Shumann Resonance as this. Approximately 2,000 thunderstorms are active around the Earth at any given time, which produce roughly 50 flashes of lightning every second. Each lightning burst creates electromagnetic waves which circle around the Earth, and are captured between Earth’s surface and a boundary about 60 miles up. Some of these waves – if they have just the right wavelength – combine, increasing in strength, to create a repeating atmospheric heartbeat known as Schumann resonance. NASA utilises this variation in resonance to provide analysis of the Earth’s weather, its electric environment, and to even help determine what types of atoms and molecules exist in Earth’s atmosphere.

“These lightning electromagnetic waves, oscillate with regions of greater energy and lesser energy. These waves remain trapped inside an atmospheric ceiling created by the lower edge of the “ionosphere” – a part of the atmosphere filled with charged particles, which begins about 60 miles up into the sky. In this case, the sweet spot for resonance requires the wave to be as long (or twice, three times as long, etc) as the circumference of Earth. This is an extremely low frequency wave that can be as low as 8 Hertz (Hz) – some one hundred thousand times lower than the lowest frequency radio waves used to send signals to your AM/FM radio. As this wave flows around Earth, it hits itself again at the perfect spot such that the crests and troughs are aligned. Voila, waves acting in resonance with each other to pump up the original signal.

Stephen Roberts commented on Alfred Henriks article stating, “Whatever is happening, it’s clear that this acceleration may make you feel more tired, exhausted, dizzy, depressed, and even strange as you raise your own frequencies to be more “in tune” with the New Earth. Adaptation is not always an easy process, but keep in mind it’s all part of your own unique AWAKENING.

Earth has been pulsating exactly at 7.83 Hz for thousands of years.” 

The Schumann resonance is powerful and does affect our physical and mental health.

So it’s clear to me, in my investigations, that global scientists have discovered and agree, that there is a connection between all living things, and their alignment with the Earth’s pulse. There are many spiritual authors, such as Dispenza (click here Dr Joe Dispenza’s full article) and Peru (click here for Elizabeth Peru’s full article), who are presently sharing enlightening tips to support alignment to the shifts in energetic Shumann Resonance. I’ve collated them for you!

Here’s my Top Tips!

  1. Increase your fluid intake, to incorporate more fresh and filtered water, as this distributes the higher vibration more efficiently throughout your body. It’s like lubricating all your systems so everything works more efficiently.
  2. Incorporate more plant-based foods into your daily diet. Plants utilise the natural universal laws of survival, harmonics, mathematics and geometrics – meaning the contain optimum energetic resonance and purpose to survive and thrive. So by consuming more plant based foods, you are heightening your body’s ability to operate at a higher frequency as well.
  3. Step out of drama of others and bring your focus inward. Investment in other people’s stuff only causes you internal chaos because you don’t have their resilience resources to solve their challenges!
  4. Get moving. Every single day. Movement distributes energy around your body, and did you know that movement actually generates kinetic energy in your body to sustain life. We’re not born to be couch potatoes!
  5. Get yourself into nature more often. Get the shoes off, connecting with Earth’s heartbeat through your barefeet. Connection to nature also stimulates your visual and auditory senses, and supports diffusion of heightened sympathetic nervous system. The Japanese got the hang of this and actually prescribe forest or tree therapy to calm the jittery client.
  6. Bring mother earth and nature inside your home. Items such as plants, crystals, minerals, salt lamps, and high quality essential oils are all excellent examples of re-establishing your connection back to your roots (pun intended).
  7. Burn incense with windows and doors open to encourage regeneration of energy within confined or closed spaces. Clearing your space and claiming it as sacred elevates your energy!
  8. Book yourself regular bodywork such as kinesiology, massage, bowen and even energy healings such as reiki. Even consider a luxurious bath in sea salt. Physical manipulation of the body supports flushing of the lymphatics system to enable your body to release toxins and resonate at higher frequencies.
  9. Get more rest and more regularly! We’re moving too fast and can’t assimilate the changes in vibration when we’re busy.
  10. Be mindful or meditate each day. There is clear science that meditation alters the brain waves to a deep place of relaxation, perfect for assimilation. Vibrate from the heart rather than your head space.

Part 3 – Achieving Balance as I Chase Rainbows

Given my own health journey, I completely understand the resonance of chronic illness and the challenges that go with that. I understand the depth of despair and sadness being experienced by someone who feels stuck or afraid to move forward on their journey path. Because I’ve been there. I think that adds to the uniqueness of what I offer as a practitioner.

When I hold space for a client, it’s from a space of compassionate understanding of what it feels like to be unwell and unmotivated. I understand that deep dark hole and not knowing how to pull myself up an out of negativity – because I’ve been there. It’s so humbling to have clients who choose me to be of service to them.

I continue to chase rainbows in search of what else makes my heart sing and further me along my journey path. Why? Because every tool I have used for myself, I share with clients when I’m being of service.

I am constantly working on myself to ensure I remain energised, grounded, centered, focused, balanced and protected. I have a number of simple spiritual practices that I incorporate into my working life, and I’ve shared them below.

 

1. Smudge my space

I energetically clear the outside of my clinical space and home with incense and white sage daily using an intention. The energy always feels clearer and calm afterwards.

My clinic room will be cleared at the beginning and end of each day with incense.

2.  Meditation

Meditation is a wonderful gift to quieten the mind and monkey chatter. It also lowers my basal muscle tone and deeply relaxed me. I use this quiet time generally before my day begins to welcome in opportunities for the day ahead. At the end of the day I express gratitude for the abundance gifted to me.

 

3. Get grounded

Each morning generally after meditation, as the sun begins to rise, I go outside in bare feet and get grounded on the grass. It’s a fantastic way to discharge positive ions – not fantastic in winter but I definitely feel the difference.

I set my intention to be grounded centered, focused, balanced and protected in alignment with the heart of my earth mother and the arms of my spiritual father. I claim my energetic space and energetically protect it.

4.  I spritz my work space with aromatherapy oils

I spritz my work space after every session and use a product by Australian Bush Flower Essences ‘space clearing’. Everyone has their own stuff and energy associated with it and it quickly builds up over a day.

I also have aromatherapy in a cold defuser in the waiting room. Most days I use a drop of lavender because it’s a biochemical mood balancer – if you’re up it shifts you down and if you’re down it tilts you up. I add eygptian geranium to the mix to allow clients to open their heart space up and utilise their own resources to love all over themselves.

5.  Resonate Essence to manifest my intentions

I met the incredible Rachelle and Mel at this year’s AKA conference and absolutely fell in love with their products. Now their products feature in my morning rituals to manifest my intentions for the day.

6.  Get journaling

I journal out any speed wobbles and express my gratitude at the abundance already in my life.

Dreams don’t just happen. Your dream life evolves because you are committed to implementing the small actions which create the feelings which resemble the life of the dream. The more positive actions you take, the more you are living the dream and chasing your own rainbow!

I invite the rainbow energy to wrap around me so I don’t have to chase it.
I simple accept it’s been with me all along!

Part 2 – My life as a Kinesiologist & Coach (Rainbow Chaser!)

I’ve been actively practicing kinesiology for over six years and dabbling in the modality for twelve years. I’ve been in my business full time now for two years after migrating from a 25 year career in the waste industry. I now have the near perfect balance between work and life. And life with a tweenager is certainly full, so I need a job which provides me flexibility to work around being a mother.

Kinesiology is something I love, so it’s not a job, it’s a joy.

I find that the modality of kinesiology isn’t just a series of techniques incorporating muscle monitoring. It’s a lifestyle, and for me almost a religion! Kinesiology has gifted me the ability to look deeply within and easily connect to my true self and journey path. It’s also been one of the best modalities which provides a foundation of structure for a clinic session, and yet include new information and teachings as I gain them. This modality supports me to remain courageous and face all the stuff for which I need to be responsible for. It also supports me to open my heart space (ie chakra) and increase my capacity for unconditional love.

Even though I am a sole business owner, I absolutely love working for myself – now. The initial days were challenging, because it’s hard work doing everything yourself. I figured out a lot of things along the way. Firstly, I quickly realised that I needed to work hours that aligned to the needs of my family. I see so many of my business coaching clients fall into the trap of booking clients outside of set hours and exhausting themselves, as I once did.

Secondly, I realised that I needed to set my intention to be of service to everyone who walks through my door. In fact, I “call the clients to me” so to speak, using the Laws of Attraction. I write love letters to the universe. I manifest who I want to work with, my ideal client. It took a bit of research, but identifying my niche was vital to be able to create the right copy and marketing strategies to grow my reach.

Sounds a little weird, but in this day and age I believe you can’t create a business and simply expect the clients to come. You have to give a little of yourself in the process to engage that Know-Like-Trust factor before they commit to you. You have to align to the aspects of your dream work life and this includes the clients you ideally want to work with. Call in the clients you know you can be of service to, and, resonate with. Call in the clients who’s journey path you understand. What better way than to align your energy to those who you can best serve?

The sooner you identify your niche of perfect clients, and work through any barriers you may have in relation to that, the sooner they are knocking on your door! Why? Because the sooner you identify your niche the sooner you are aligning your marketing to them. And the sooner you work with them, they will be shouting rave reviews about you to their friends and family – because the changes will be that visible.

Thirdly, I’ve worked through a truckload of negative beliefs when it comes to working for both myself and my perfect client. The old belief that I needed to always be available to clients and never say “no”, and learnt very quickly to set boundaries to ensure my work to life balance was established and maintained. Working set hours that enable me to balance my family life supports that I meet my needs as a mother and wife is important. But more importantly working these limited hours means that I am always energised for everyone entering in my clinical world!

Then there was the discomfort at asking for money at the end of the session, because my self worth was a little wobbly. I loved supervised clinical practice for dealing with this. It also helped that I’d done corporate consulting work for nearly a decade prior, and, understood the need to be renumerated for my time and expertise. Believe it or not, when I first started out, I was still uncomfortable in my own private practice asking for payment!

I’ve overcome an enormous fear of being judged, by becoming publicly visible in my business. And I will even admit to the ocean of frustrated tears which have been shed that were associated with technotarditis. Frankly the depth of technology available to make our lives easier is overwhelming, but you need to understand the basic processes of your business first.

I was recently asked what would you like to share with your fellow Kinesiologists? I love this question and there’s a couple of tips I regularly share with my coaching clients. In the first instance I always tell my clients – Embrace Your Race At Your Pace!

Never get caught in the trap of comparisonitis, which often hits when you’re fatigued or frustrated. Stick to my business plan and assess my statistics. Reflect on other’s peoples work for ideas, graphics, styles of copy, but don’t try to become them. Just be you!

For all practitioners I recommend collaboration so you never feel isolated or alone. It’s important to feel part of a tribe. I’d like to advocate belonging to an association which easily enables collaboration across a broad spectrum. Events like conferences, webinars, online learning, facilitated advertising of registered training providers, regional gatherings are just some of the obvious things that our professional industry associations do.

But think of belonging to your association as a legitimate way to demonstrate to your clientele that you belong to a professional network, which isn’t just an online Facebook group. But an organisation with a charter and mission and dedication to it’s members and your given modality.

Online forums provide fabulous connection but it’s not for everyone in terms of geographic or actual desire access to utlise technology. I get that. So the beauty of an association is that it should provide a range of platforms to engage you – conference, magazine, online presence, as well as support when you need it.

 

 

But I always find myself returning to the excitement I felt when I first enrolled in the modality. The excitement of the story that the body can tell us using kinesiology techniques, still to this day blows my mind. I am so grateful for this modality and it’s ability to tap into the human body fields.

I Chase Rainbows – Part One

I often get asked how did I get into kinesiology? I generally take a very deep breath and slow down my mind and smile, because the additional of kinesiology to my life has been an incredible series of chapters in my book of life!

I generally respond with “my first experience with kinesiology was with Dr Charles Krebs in the late 1980s”. My brother was dyslexic and failing mid-range high school because he was struggling to read and write. My mother was open minded enough to try anything to support him to be able to read and write. Six months later and he was not only passing, he was top of the class with an almost identic memory. He went on to dux year 12 and then the entire science faculty at his university institution upon completion of his degree. Kinesiology unlocked his true potential.

For me, my initial reaction was to release anger, and lots of it. My poor mother wasn’t inclined to take me back in a real hurry! I was angry in my teens with little memory of my childhood. I thought that was normal. Turns out, early childhood trauma can cause people to ‘shut down’ memories – who knew??!!!

In my subsequent training, I’ve learnt a lot about the effects of significant life experiences and how the subconscious body responds with alterations to our behavioural patterns. How we respond to shock of losing someone to suicide, or a parent getting sick, or expectations to achieve during exams, are all simple examples.

Studying kinesiology, amongst other things, I’ve spent the last ten years working on my negative based story patterns that I had been running in response to life. Kinesiology empowered me to change the lifestyle mindset where I felt stuck. This amazing modality supported me to defuse stress and swing my life back into a positive space rather than dwelling in a negative void.

We all have stuff – right? Of course we do! We inherit the patterns of whatever and wherever our parents were (in their stuff) at the time when we were conceived. We are also affected by our environment– the food we eat, the technology we use, the people we interact with and our experiences. Is it any wonder we get stressed! The thing I love about kinesiology is the ability of the modality to bring a person back onto their line of recuperation so they can recuperate themselves.

Over the last decade, I returned to kinesiology due to a health crisis, triggered by stress that was held in my body with an association to some genetic patterns. I had reached a point whereby I was no longer be able to utilise western medicine fully. I also had a realisation during this time, that I was responsible for my health.

I sought out a modality whereby the stress could be defused, and I could power myself forward on my journey path. I liken the process of this awakening and evolution, similar to the joy of catching a rainbow for a moment or two. I am now motivated to chase rainbows all the time – because I want my life to be positive and filled with energetic joyous gratitude. My wish is that I can share this ability to have joy in life with all I encounter. I am living proof it’s possible.

Kinesiology has gifted me the release of a chronic illness, namely Crohns Disease. That said I am now very conscious about my wellbeing and take exceptionally good care of myself. Kinesiology has become somewhat of a lifestyle, because it’s afforded me access to so much more science, just from a different aspect and point of view. It’s given me health, a child, a happy marriage and loving relationships. It also continues to deliver me a lifestyle whereby my pace of work to life is balanced and well managed.

I now embrace my race at my pace.

TOP FIVE BIZ TIPS

So you’ve graduated or are close to graduating your chosen course. You’ve probably started thinking about how you’re going to translate your studies into a viable business – but where to start, right? When working with coaching clients, there are a couple of consistent small actions I find myself sharing. These tips are above and beyond the basic business needs like organising the following:

  • modality insurance;
  • a business name;
  • finalising your qualification;
  • opening a separate business bank account; and
  • establishing a place of business.

In fact, riding the rodeo of small business is often associated with stepping right out of your comfort zone and learning to wear all the hats – finance controller, administrator, marketing to name just a few, all before you work as a practitioner! Crazy right? In my 15 years of running my own business, and 25 years of working for corporate businesses, I’ve learned to adapt my investigative and audit skills.

You’ve got to bring the focus right back to you.

Tip number one is to ensure your focus is on you!

 

I know that sounds a little weird but the age old saying that “you can’t pour from an empty cup” is so true!

When you’re wearing all the hats in your small business, it can very quickly get overwhelming and exhausting.

Furthermore, when you work with people, you’re going to use a lot of your energy to maintain and hold space for another person. So, it’s a good idea to regularly review how you look after yourself.

Some people scoff at me when I advise that I book all my self care appointments in advance. Come each and every new year, I’m booking in appointments with the hairdresser, chiropractor, massage therapist, kinesiologist for the coming twelve month period. Why? Because I matter and when my bucket isn’t overflowing with energy, I don’t do my best work. So I book for me first, and then block these times out of my online booking system.

You need energy to maintain the ability to run the marathon that a business requires. So schedule time for yourself each and every day to nurture the energy you have. You’re going to need to be able to ramp this up in order to deliver your heart felt service.

So, if you’ve been feeling sluggish, I strongly recommend you re-assess how you’ve been caring for yourself.

Great food, movement and even moments of mindfulness (like meditation) all contribute to filling your vessel with self love

And don’t forget, before you started your small business you already had a life! You’re going to need to figure out how to balance your time and energy between business and everything else in your life – family, friends, sport etc. So remember this, focusing on you and your schedule is vital.

Your race your pace

In other words – schedule yourself first in your diary!

Tip number two is to ‘accept the to do list’

 

Two of the biggest lessons I’ve ever had to learn are (1) that the ‘to do’ list for business is ENORMOUS. And (2) the list NEVER ENDS!!!

Once you get your head around those two facts, small business is easier to get your head around.

Creating a ‘to do’ list is vital to ensure you align to all the tasks you need to complete in order to satisfy your business plan targets. Additionally, having a ‘to do’ list helps you prioritise what you do each day or each time you decide to work.

There’s a couple of tricks with a ‘to do’ list. Be sure to scratch off each completed task as evidence YOU CAN DO IT! Often we need visual sensory input to remind our motivation that we are making progress!

Don’t be overwhelmed by the size of the list. If the stress creeps in get it sorted pronto. There’s nothing worse than having stress to derail you away from the dream life you are trying to achieve.

When looking at your ‘to do’ list, be honest in your assessment of the tasks. Identify what is the most cost effective tasks for you to complete quickly. The reason I say this, is because there are going to be times you can engage a sub-contractor to get things done. They’re going to be quicker and more efficient that you, and they’re likely going to be cheaper than you wasting time figuring it out yourself.

So where possible, outsource small finite tasks so you can concentrate on being a practitioner, not a web designer! If your current budget doesn’t permit outsourcing, talk to your mentor about options.

Tip number three, get a mentor!

 

I learnt very early on, when I started working out of university, that what I learnt from books meant jack shit when it came to the real world. I had foundation knowledge, but I needed to learn how to apply it.

I was fortunate that when I started working in a government job, I had to pair up with everyone in the team to do my work. I was the youngest by at least fifteen years, so I was so gifted working within such an experienced team.

This meant I learnt different tips, tricks and methods to approach all manner of different facets of my job. This also meant that I got good at checking the ego at the door, and, asking for help when I was stuck so that I didn’t fall behind in my work.

There is no possible way you are ever going to know everything on how to run a business when you start out, or even when you want to grow it.

The learning curve when starting your small business is extremely steep, and, can often feel very lonely and overwhelming. I find the trick is to accept you’re running a marathon, and pace yourself accordingly. If necessary, break down the task into small actions (hence the ‘to do list’) and schedule them into the diary. The list often helps me identify that what I initially thought would be a ‘quick and easy’ gig turns into something much more time consuming. So, it all comes back to the planning.

Additionally, scheduling these small actions into my diary helps me map out the prioritising of tasks each week. My forward planning improves as I gain understanding and experience of implementing actions. This helps me not overload my expectation of what I can reasonably achieve in a single week, whilst still being a member of a family and friendship circle. Remember the balance and focus on you!!!

I’ve got three mentors who I regularly touch base with for various reasons. One for money who has helped me gain understanding of profit and loss, turn over and budget forecasting. I’ve got a marketing mentor who has assisted me enormously to step out of my comfort zone and through social media show the world who I am. And I have a third mentor whom I refine the application of my technical knowledge.

Why would I want to waste any more of my time in learning things my mentors have already mastered? It’s a complete waste of unpaid time and energy to attempt to resolve the ‘hard stuff’ all by yourself and work yourself into a stressed-out meerkat.

Additionally, picking someone’s brains will navigate a path that often avoids a mistake they made in terms of learning lessons. This navigation is invaluable to the small business operator, who’s cash flow is often not high and trying to keep overheads low and do things yourself.

I strongly suggest in your first year of business, invest and book in regular touch bases with your mentor or mentors! They have helped me stay on track and kept me to task in terms of my strategic business plan and the targets I set myself. They also shared with me their contacts of subcontractors of who helped them. This was extremely useful because it meant I could use a model already created- rather than paying to reinvent the wheel.

Now that I coach myself, I’ve got standing arrangements with my virtual assistant who I send my biz clients to and we arrange the fabulous Deb to “do the same as Karen”. I’ve already consented to reapplication of my material with a change of brand. It’s lovely to pay this forward and help out those in my network where I can. Afterall, we are all ambassadors for change in our own way!

Here’s the classic mentor questions you could ask:

  • Have someone you trust in your corner for support
  • There’s no harm in asking “what did you do when this happened?”
  • How do you approach this?
  • What are the words you use?
  • What do I need to be mindful of?
  • Is there someone I can outsource this to?
Top tip number four is have a strategic plan

 

The strategic business plan helps you identify the four most important facets of your business:

  • Forecast budget;
  • Professional development;
  • Brand; and
  • Network

The plan helps you to identify a realistic forecast target (what you are capable of making if every appointment is filled) and subsequent spending budget.

I find my strategic plan is exceptionally useful in driving at what points of the year I can afford to study, or, place my focus on marketing because my forward bookings are down.

It’s vital to ensure you have ongoing professional development – yep more study. This keeps you apprised of developments in your field. It also provides new stimulus for you and your clients. Additionally, you build your network with every course you participate within.

The strategic plan helps you look ahead each month or quarter and identify the big gaps in your booking calendar. Where there are gaps, this is the signal to communicate now with your network to generate conversation about you and your services. Identifying who you will bring into your network each year is vital, as this steers where your business will grow both in demographics and services provision.

The best thing I love about my strategic plan is that it’s not complicated – it’s one page! Yep, one page. Most people I work with are baffled by this. My plan provides me a rapid overview of where I want to take my business each quarter.

I get to review it easily and quickly each quarter. It literally keeps me on track in terms of where I invest my energy and efforts. Often when I am reaching for the stars, I can share elements of my plan with either my mentor or virtual assistant to give them the heads up that I’m going to be talking to them more often in a given time period. This is often the impetus for me to schedule time out of clinic to meet with these contacts to ensure I get all the actions done. There’s nothing more satisfying to a control freak who loves to plan, than ticking stuff off the to do list.

Top tip number five is ‘be prepared’!

 

Being prepared for absolutely everything and anything to be thrown your way.

Small business is like riding a roller coaster. There’s the euphoric highs, and nauseating low times. There’s the thrill of the bends and turns and surprise of the view from the top. There’s the poo inducing feeling when you step out of your comfort zone and your outlook on life changes and you realise you really can do it.

And be prepared to back yourself and that dream you had when you first started studying.

So be prepared for a long list including but definitely not limited to:

  • Anything
  • Everything
  • Failure
  • Success
  • Stepping out of your comfort zone
  • For big lessons about who you really are and what motivates you
  • Freedom
  • Heartache and frustration
  • Challenges
  • Overwhelm
  • Stress
  • Sleepless nights
  • Judgement from family and friends thinking you are NUTS to follow your dream because it’s hard work
  • Joy from working with repeat clients
  • Elation from seeing clients change because of your service.

In my experience the first step to small business is believing in yourself and what you plan on offering. Don’t allow anyone to pull you off your path. Surround yourself with awesome, and, call in the abundance! When stepping out of your comfort zone, be sure to have someone experienced in your corner to help you ride the rodeo!

Always remember you can choose to change and embrace the real authentic practitioner within, and bloom from within.

Top Tip to Manifesting Your Dream Life

I was listening to a podcast the other day, which started with ‘luck is for leprechauns and you aren’t green”!! Wowsers that was a powerful statement! And it reminded me of the importance of incorporating The Laws of Attraction into my daily routine life. Doing this supports me to remain focused on my dream life, and the good feelings these experiences and abundance will bring me. It’s a combination of all the small things which contribute to my ability to be grateful for all that I manifest and bring into my world. And it has nothing to do with money or stuff. My focus is on experiencing the joy of life, and, being vibrantly happy and healthy.

I get asked a lot about the Laws Of Attraction, which are fundamentally simple in nature. With a little daily dedication and accuracy, they are easy to activate and implement into your life to achieve all that you want and more.

The more we can bring our focus to self, the more available energy we have to maintain motivation and access to our resilience skills to walk our journey paths. Actions don’t have to take a lot of time, and they can simply be to ‘check in’ with how you are feeling in terms of positive or negative. The more you can acknowledge more positive in your life the more gratitude state you create within. The greater the gratitude, the higher your ability to manifest abundance in your life.

Here are my tips to Manifest Your Dream Life

 

You have to be able to visualise what it is you want.

This process isn’t just about thinking about winning a million dollars and thinking this will solve all your problems.

This process is about sitting quietly each day, and, gifting yourself moments whereby you literally can envisage doing the thing you want.

Liz Oakes discusses in her article, that visualisation “is known as conceptualization. As you form an image of what you desire in your mind, you are using your imagination to bring it into reality. You must first see it in your imagination. It must be fully formed and conceptualized before it can possibly manifest. This is the process of creating an image in your mind of what you desire to have in your life. Make the image you see in your mind as real and as detailed as you can, as this is how you will bring it into manifestation.

Once you have envisaged the dream life that you want, you need to desire it.

By this I mean be intensely excited about what you’re visualising. Imagine how it looks AND how it feels to do doing this revised version of your life.

It is the focus on the feelings which link to your ability to consciously be grateful. Acknowledging gratitude then counts as a credit in your happiness bank account!

I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to connect to this ‘feel good’ feeling. It must be very strong and tangible. You literally have to be able to connect with how good it feels. And as you visualise and continue to invest in that picture, really connect to the evolving strong feelings. Without the emotive connection, there is no point.

Let me be clear. It is at this point that most people have the potential to enter a self-sabotaging situation. If you don’t connect to the feeling, and only focus on the outcome then you aren’t changing your approach. You are just dreaming. Tony Robbins talks about “get yourself moving, don’t wait for the perfect trainer, just get yourself moving”. Connection to the feeling of what you want supports you to change your accountability and investment in what you want.

Affirm and believe that what you desire as if it is already real.

When you believe what you desire is possible to manifest and create, then you are talking to universe with your order of what you want.

Imagine as if you’re sitting at your favourite restaurant, and you order your favourite dish of garlic prawns, you are almost licking your chops in anticipation of how good it’s going to taste.

It is the belief that your favourite chef will prepare your order just the way you love it. The Law of Attraction is identical to this belief that the chef will prepare your order exactly how you asked for it.

The concept of affirming or intention setting, is to make a positive statement of what you believe.

When making this statement you need to truly believe you have the capacity to make it come true.

In other words, you must have the intention to manifest what you desire, otherwise it’s just a day dream.

Word of warning though, when we believe and utilise affirmations to invigorate the dream life we want, we must to align to your current belief system. Also, the affirmation must align with your conscious mind or it rejects the affirmations as unimaginable. By this I mean, there’s no point affirming something that is not presently within your remote realm of possibility.

For example, stating the affirmation “I am a millionaire” if you are presently living with your grandmother creates a conscious mind rejection – a mental conflict in your head space. Scale back the dream to a smaller goal that is actually realistic to achieve. Smash that out and continue to grow the dream, evolve the affirmations and the small action based goals. This way you’re not setting yourself up to fail or messing with your own values and beliefs which will question and sabotage if the dream doesn’t align to your current capacity.

The more specific and measurable your affirmations are, the easier they will be to implement as small action-based goals.

Act and behave as if your life desire has already been manifested. It is action which brings about changes in people’s lives. Affirmations are utilised to motivate you to take more action and remain focused on the dream life you are manifesting.

Now this doesn’t mean go and max out your credit card because you have the ‘dream to be a millionaire’. This means do some thing action based, which gives you the feelings which align with the dream live you are intending, for example happiness.

The final part of understanding how to implement the laws of attraction is allowance – detach from the outcome. You have to be intense in your desire of the dream and it’s feel good, to embrace, trust and surrender it will

When you gain the clarity of the understanding that the only limits in our life are the ones we set, you too can choose to change and bloom from within.
